Animation workshops

Facilitated by Lucinda Clutterbuck, with assistance from Lewis Argall.

In a playful and exploratory atmosphere, we showcase a variety of creative animation techniques tailored to the space and time available to us, using improvisation to create story and images. We work as a group and have made animations with everything from chairs to chocolate buds and tea leaves!

Our specialty animation workshops are best suited to groups of no more than 12 participants.

We love working with beginners, advanced and neurodiverse participants.

Participants use digital cameras and a variety of apps and software to capture animation frame by frame.

We have a tool kit of delivery formats to ensure the style and duration of our workshops are flexible - from one day workshops for groups who just want to have some fun and play with stop motion animation to 5 day workshops for 8 - 12 participants who will make a complete mini film project complete with music.

We can arrange a presentation event for family and friends at the end of the sessions.

We are mobile and can accommodate different environments - our workshops have been held in children’s hospitals, shipping containers, the Inner West council, France, New Zealand, Costa Rica - each workshop has its own flavour!

An online animation workshop is currently in development.
